Williams College’s exciting new venues serve football, men’s and women’s lacrosse, women’s field hockey, and track and field. Athletes train with top-tier amenities at the Weston Field Complex—a versatile hub for students and the larger Williamstown community.
CHA spearheaded the design, including electrical aspects, for these new venues, an 8-lane, 400-meter track and field facility, a contemporary team pavilion, and spectator accommodations. Enhanced spectator facilities encompass ample seating, a press box, restrooms, concessions, and parking. At the ground level, the athlete support building houses adaptable team locker rooms, equipment and laundry facilities, and a sports medicine suite with direct field access and distinct areas for treatment, rehab, hydrotherapy, offices, restrooms, and a dedicated exam room.

Ed is one of the country’s premier sports designers. He has designed and overseen the installation of over 350 synthetic turf fields as well as over 400 natural grass turf fields, many of which are located at colleges and universities across the country. He has 34 years of progressive sports facility planning, landscape architecture and project management experience, including 1,200 projects since joining CHA in 1988.
