Whitehall Township Police and Administration Offices

Whitehall Township in Lehigh County, PA, has transformed its municipal campus with the addition of a cutting-edge police station and a complete renovation of the existing municipal building. As the construction manager, CHA guided every step of the process, from cost estimation and budgeting to architect selection, permitting, and land development. The project was driven by a commitment to sustainability, energy efficiency, and long-term durability.

The new police station is designed with this Pennsylvania community and safety in mind, featuring a secure lobby and cell block, a versatile training room that also serves as a public meeting space, and specialized areas for emergency responder gear, an armory, and evidence storage. The revamped municipal building now offers a welcoming community transaction lobby, modern offices, and updated systems that streamline operations.

The project introduced a new above-ground fuel storage tank and fueling station, redesigned site access for better flow, expanded parking with a secure, solar-powered canopy for police vehicles, and a spacious public works storage facility. Together, these upgrades make Whitehall Township’s municipal operations more functional, secure, and sustainable than ever before.
