CHA partnered with the University of Rochester to deliver energy management services through a NYSERDA-funded FlexTech initiative. The project spanned their extensive campus, encompassing approximately 141 buildings. We conducted meticulous energy studies, evaluated proposals from ESCOs and equipment vendors to ensure accurate savings, and actively participated in devising and executing strategies for energy reduction and sustainability.
Additionally, we carried out a comprehensive energy benchmarking study, focusing on 33 of their most significant structures, spanning an impressive 3.75 million square feet. CHA played a pivotal role in identifying various opportunities for conserving energy, ultimately resulting in the successful application for over $2 million in NYSERDA energy incentives supporting the University's commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
