Springfield Township Municipal Complex

Springfield Township, a vibrant suburban community bordering northwest Philadelphia, PA, reimagined its municipal complex into a dynamic hub for civic and community life. To bring this vision to reality, Springfield Township enlisted CHA to manage the project from start to finish, handling every detail with precision and care.

The ambitious redevelopment included the construction of a public works building with a salt shed and garage, a library, and a police/administration building. CHA’s innovative approach to site and construction phasing allowed the township’s essential services to continue uninterrupted during construction. By proposing a strategic plan to temporarily relocate the library and police/administration offices to an offsite facility, CHA slashed the original construction timeline from 48 to 24 months. This move delivered significant cost savings, easily offsetting relocation expenses.

This state-of-the-art municipal complex in Pennsylvania serves as the heart of Springfield Township, offering modernized public works facilities, a cutting-edge library, and enhanced police and administration offices that will benefit the community well into the future.
