With an emphasis on sustainability and energy efficiency, the Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU) School of Business building underwent a vital expansion.
CHA provided independent enhanced commissioning services in accordance with LEED requirements for the energy systems involved in the extensive 40,000 SF renovation of the SCSU School of Business building. The commissioned systems encompassed a state-of-the-art VRV (Daiken Variable Refrigerant Volume) system, advanced lighting controls, domestic hot water, and a PV (Photovoltaic) system. Upon finalizing the enhanced commissioning documentation, the project achieved LEED Gold certification, exceeding its initial goal of securing LEED Silver certification.
