On-Call Wetlands and Associated Environmental Services
CHA was awarded the on-call wetlands contract in 2008 and has since continued to provide a full range of environmental services to INDOT’s Ecology and Waterway Permitting Office. CHA manages over 310 acres of wetland mitigation and 56,000 feet of stream mitigation, including monitoring, maintenance, and mitigation site development.
We have provided cost-effective, innovative solutions on various projects. We implemented the use of GPS-enabled tablets and have increased our efficiency with data collection, data management, and map production to complete more projects within schedule and budget. Our project services have included annual mitigation monitoring and report submittal; mitigation maintenance encompassing invasive species control, tree planting, and seedings; permit applications; mitigation plan development, and wetland delineation and Waters of the United States reports.

Summer is a professional wetland scientist with over two decades of experience in environmental consulting, specializing in stream and wetland permitting for development projects. Her skills include wetland delineations, Section 401/404 permitting, mitigation monitoring, mitigation design, and NEPA documentation. Summer has considerable experience working with federal, state, and local agencies while maintaining project schedules.
