Charlottesville Student Apartments

Demand for off-campus housing is surging in Charlottesville, prompting the University of Virginia to engage CHA in designing new student apartments to meet this growing need.

This 435-bed complex will offer a range of unit types from studios to four-bedrooms, clustered around a central courtyard which contains a pool and outdoor gathering spaces. Other on site amenities include multiple types and sizes of study rooms, a clubhouse, fitness center and even a dog wash. Sited on a steep site, lower levels of parking are buried into the hill, allowing the amenities and units to look out over the adjacent neighborhoods.
