In the heart of downtown Saratoga Springs stands the Adelphi Hotel, the oldest and only remaining grand hotel. The hotel’s establishment coincided with the city’s hospitality boom, sparked by the opening of the now-famous thoroughbred racetrack.
In 2012, the Adelphi Hotel was acquired with a vision to expand its offerings. The developer secured the property behind the Adelphi to add a lavish 275-seat banquet hall and increase the room count at the hotel. CHA was tapped for the visionary redesign to restore this remnant of 19th century Saratoga hospitality.
The result was unveiled in October 2017—a grand hotel that seamlessly integrates with the city's urban landscape. Our civil/site, landscape architecture, traffic, site permitting, and project management solutions enhanced the urban fabric of downtown Saratoga Springs. The Adelphi has been brought back to life, winning acclaim on Condé Nast Traveler's 2018 Hot List of the world's finest new hotels.
