CHA’s Pervez Iqbal, PE, has been named an ENR Southeast 2020 Top Young Professional. Each year ENR’s regional publications recognize the industry’s Top Young Professionals for their leadership, career progress, community involvement, and creating landmark projects. Pervez will be featured in the January 2020 issue of ENR Southeast along with this year’s class.
Pervez’s leadership and excellence in transportation engineering, as well as his commitment to his community, have made him invaluable to the profession and CHA’s Highways Group. As Highways Group Technical Leader, he has been key in managing professionals involved in more than 100 transportation projects in nine different U.S. locations. Pervez also works tirelessly to bring up the next generation of engineers. Leveraging his experience, Pervez has helped lead numerous technical trainings and workshops to support his team’s professional development. He also has been a leader within the engineering community through his active engagement with the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE), the Future City Competition, and the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) Engineers’ Week.
From an early age, Pervez has been committed to civic and humanitarian societies. He has an outstanding record of volunteerism, having worked with humanitarian organizations around Atlanta, including Open Hand, Hosea Feed the Hungry, and Furkids.
