Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) is in the final stages of adopting master plan developed by airport planners here at CHA. The airport held a successful final public meeting on February 23rd, and the board approved the 5, 10, and 20 year plans the following Wednesday. FDOT and the FAA must give final approval before the plans can move forward.
Here is what Paul Puckli, director of airport planning, had to say about the project, “We appreciate all of the help and support that we got from Parker McClellan and the staff at ECP. We also have been extremely pleased with the cooperation and continued interest in the Master Plan that we got from the Board, the airport users and tenants, elected officials, and the community. In partnership with all of these entities, we were able to develop a solid plan for the future development of Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport as it grows from it’s infancy to being a vital link to the nation’s air transportation system for the Florida Panhandle.”
