CHA Consulting, Inc. (CHA) announces D’Huy Engineering has rebranded as CHA. For nearly five decades, D’Huy has served educational, municipal, commercial, and industrial clients with core services, including project and construction management; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering; structural design and forensic engineering; facilities engineering; and water and wastewater infrastructure design. Based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, D’Huy was acquired by CHA in February 2024. D’Huy has an impressive portfolio of projects from public schools and municipal buildings to water treatment facilities, and added 100 employees to CHA’s specialized teams, including engineers, project/construction managers, and structural, mechanical, electrical and fire protection designers.
“With the high demand for program/construction management and water resources design, the final stage of aligning our teams under the CHA brand positions us well to drive growth in those markets,” said Jim Stephenson, CEO of CHA. “We now have an even stronger presence in the Mid-Atlantic region where we anticipate many new opportunities allowing us to serve new and existing clients with our innovative services and a deep bench of diverse resources.”
"Since joining CHA in February, our talented team has continued our tradition of excellence of delivering outstanding services to our clients," said Arif Fazil, former President of D’Huy Engineering. "The integration into CHA allows us to continue our client-focused approach, now with added bench strength and resources to reinforce the reliability our clients have come to expect. Our team is excited about the opportunities and the range of services we can provide to our public, private and institutional clients.”
The acquisition of D’Huy Engineering brought CHA’s staff count to nearly 1,900 in 40 + offices from Canada to Florida to the Midwest.
