With more than 20 years of strategy, finance and corporate development experience, Jim joined CHA in May 2019, initially serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer. In January 2020, he was appointed to lead CHA where his focus has been on growth, aggressive acquisition and integration, and driving value through innovation and client-focused solutions.
Jim earned his MBA in Finance and International Business at American University – Kogod School of Business in Washington, D.C., and his B.A. in Business Management at Clark University in Worcester, MA. Jim has received multiple Environmental Business Journal M&A Awards and is a frequent E&C industry contributor and conference panelist focusing on executing successful value creation through M&A strategies.
Dom Bernardo

Dom has more than 40 years of accounting and financial management experience, most of which has been in the consulting engineering and construction industries. He joined CHA in 2009 and, in his role as CFO, Dom leads all accounting, finance, treasury, information technology and administrative functions for CHA. Dom holds a B.S. in Accounting from DePaul University.

Jenn has over 20 years of experience in all aspects of human resources management and leading high-growth, client and employee-driven organizations across multiple industries. Since joining CHA in 2017, Jenn has led the development of several innovative company programs and initiatives focused on enhancing the employee experience and achieving CHA’s business objectives. Jenn received her B.S. in Business Administration & Human Resources from State University of New York Geneseo and her MBA from the State University of New York at Albany.

Since joining CHA in 2000, Greg’s focus has been on the growth and operational performance of the power, energy and manufacturing business lines of the firm. With more than 25 years as an engineer and industry leader, he has managed and led a wide range of gas and electric distribution, transmission, facility infrastructure, and permitting projects. Greg holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University and M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Syracuse University.

With over 35 years of diverse industry and leadership experience, John joined CHA in 2016 and leads CHA's Infrastructure business. He is responsible for the growth and operations of the transportation, water and aviation teams. His expertise includes design, construction management, program management, business development, operational management and executive leadership. John holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University.

Cynthia has over three decades of proven operations, strategic planning, and business expansion experience with a strong technical engineering foundation. As Sector President, she is responsible for the strategic direction and driving growth and performance goals across the sector’s business lines, including building design, land development, fire protection services, project management/construction management, and sports facility design. Cynthia holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Merrimack College.

Joe joined CHA in 2019 and, with more than 30 years of transportation engineering experience, he provides executive level oversight for successful project execution and leadership of operational strategic initiatives and synergy realization. He leads the strategy planning and management of multiple corporate functions including CHA’s Project Management Office, M&A integration, innovation and sustainability. Joe holds a B.S. from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and an M.S. from the Georgia Institute of Technology, both in Civil Engineering.

Jeff has over two decades of experience in driving organizational growth through advanced technology applications and development. As Chief Digital Officer, he is responsible for aligning CHA’s business strategies with modern digital initiatives that stimulate growth, deliver operational efficiencies, and enhance client value. Jeff holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Utah and a B.S. in Engineering from North Dakota State University.

Michael joined CHA in 1998 and has more than 30 years of experience practicing various types of law. He leads CHA’s Legal team and his responsibilities include implementation of risk management efforts, negotiation of contractual agreements, direction of collection efforts, management of litigation as well as providing general legal guidance to management. Michael also oversees the complex legal work required for CHA’s acquisition activities, which have been instrumental in CHA’s expansion efforts. He received his B.A. in Economics from Hamilton College and his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver, CO.

Jay holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Tennessee Technological University.
